  • Concept

    High Strength Geomat is a geocomposite product made of geogrid and stereoscopic vegetation mat. When apply with soil nails, the system can replace traditional shotcrete method to enhance safety and vegetation.

    Protection of shallow and steep slope in fractured zone.

    1. Easy handling and installation.
    2. High tensile strength and high resistance to abrasion.
    3. Special 3D structure improves the growth rate of vegetation.
    4. Replacing shotcrete slope protection engineering method with a more environment-friendly method.

High Strength GeomatCONSTRUCTION PROCESS

  • Ground Cleaning

    Clean the ground surface of the site.

  • Geomat Laying

    Cut the ACEMat™ HSVM to the required size and lay on the target slope.

  • Geomat Anchoring

    Overlap the ACEMat™ HSVM as specified on the design drawing and anchor it.

  • Slope Vegetation

    Perform slope vegetation for beautification.

High Strength GeomatDemonstrative Case

Erosion Control and Revegetation in Hshinchu, Taiwan

The high strength geomat is applied to stabilize and protect a steep slope, to reduce the possibility of road collapse in heavy rain. The high strength geomat, combining with hydroseeding vegetating method, forms a protective green shield to prevent direct wash of rain or surface runoff and keeps the slope steady. The protected slope has stood several typhoons after construction and is still stable.
